This is a compact high-output monoblock designed to provide demanding loudspeakers with substantial power, current and control. Each REF600M powers a single loudspeaker channel, delivering 300 watts into 8 ohms and 600 watts into 4 ohms while maintaining compatibility with loads as low as 2 ohms. A peak output-current capability of 27 amps allows the amplifier to respond confidently to difficult impedance curves and demanding musical transients.
Balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs allow the REF600M to integrate with a broad range of preamplifiers and DAC/control components, while selectable 27dB or 33dB gain simplifies matching with different source systems. An exceptionally high damping factor, low output impedance and WBT NextGen binding posts provide firm electrical control of the connected loudspeaker, all within Bel Canto's compact e.One chassis.
