In addition, the 3rd gen employs a balanced headphone output driven by a pair of 12AU7 vacuum tubes. The power output is over 1.5w of power per channel @4 Ohms; ideal for a wide range of power demanding headphones and IEMs. The user-replaceable vacuum tubes can be upgraded at any time to customize the sound to the listener's preference.
