Vintage Stereo Solid State Preamplifier


This Audio General Inc. 511 is one of most significant preamps of all time! Designed in the 70's by a former Dynaco Engineer, David Spiegel, it boasts a phono preamp slew rate of 250 V/uS and sold 5000 copies worldwide. It was particularly successful in Japan where it was known as “the poor man’s Mark Levinson”. Features: Tape 1 and 2, Phono, Tuner, Aux, Dubbing, Mono, Tone Send, Volume, Balance. In good condition for it's age. Original box, packing and manual are not available, but we promise to pack it carefully!
